BMC collaborates with TTU admissions to create multimedia marketing tools to attract prospective students.

In 2005, Tolbert approached BMC to update the university's recruitment piece. The challenge was to create a "hi-tech" image to support the university's strength in technological training, but also to convey the fun and friendly atmosphere of TTU campus-life.
"In every case, BMC steps outside the limits," Tolbert said. "They never limit themselves to their capabilities. They are always looking for new ways to approach an existing challenge."
BMC developed a database of more than 500 Internet-accessible streaming video files. By entering a keyword in the search field, the program is able to filter through the database to reveal numerous candid student testimonials pertaining to the specified topic.

"TTU wanted to do something really unique in the market, and we put this searchable video database together," said BMC Director Kevin Liska. "We combined database technology with the innovation of target marketing. People are going to feel they made an association with the university. It's a good example of using emerging technology to get the job done."
The TTU searchable video experience was created by the staff and students of BMC and is believed to be the first one ever used by a university specifically for marketing purposes.
"The creativity and the dynamics of the working relationship, especially with the students, is what truly stands out about the BusinessMedia Center," said Tolbert of TTU's academic affairs.
"They develop strong concepts and really stretch beyond their capabilities to produce outstanding, original work."
