BMC partners with Micro Metals, Inc. to develop a comprehensive CD-ROM and Web site, positioning the company as a leader in the metal stamping industry and helping increase sales.

Micro Metals is an industry leader in using powder metallurgy - the process of manufacturing complex mechanical component gears, cams, sprockets and other multilevel parts with powder metals.
To help increase sales and strengthen the company's marketing position, Micro Metals Sales Manager Ken Porter contacted BMC.
"We were looking to explore the use of a CD-ROM as a sales piece," said Porter.
"The BusinessMedia Center's knowledge of various media tools and our knowledge
of our product were like pieces of a puzzle fitting together. We had a format
we were interested in using. The BusinessMedia Center listened intently, chipped
in their ideas, and the CD came together nicely.

"The CD represents a real flavor for what we offer. We use it in our face-to-face presentations, mail it to prospective customers and use it as a handout for those with whom we can't directly meet.
"It reinforces our customers' reasons for working with us," Porter said. "They see we've spent time and money on producing a quality communications piece and, by implication, know we're dedicated to producing quality products.
"The key to the CD's success was BMC's responsiveness to making changes," he said. "They were just as determined as we were to get it right.
"When I first saw the completed project, it was evident they had put in a lot of work behind the scenes. It was a nice surprise to see such a well-produced sales piece that we could use in so many different ways.
"We are very appreciative of BMC's hard work. The CD enhances our capability to reach our sales goals, and ultimately helps us close the deal."
