BMC produced a promotional CD-ROM touting economic development in Campbell County, Tenn.
Effectively recruiting a broad range of businesses and industries to Campbell County is one of the many goals Jay Willoughby, assistant to the county executive, sought to achieve by working with BMC.

After viewing another county's BMC-produced CD-ROM, Willoughby asked the BusinessMedia Center to produce a promotional item about Campbell County.

"Th(ese) CD(s) obviously provide an advantage over printed or VHS promotional materials because of the ability to edit and modify content.
"We contacted BMC and together began the formulation of how to proceed, and discussed the type of promotional content we deemed desirable and effective to our broad base of potential users," said Willoughby.

Campbell County's leadership uses the CD to promote economic development issues, including industrial recruitment, tourism opportunities and workforce development.

"The CD will serve as a recruitment tool to visually and verbally promote both internal and external attraction of developmental forces within the county. Used as a distribution tool, (the CD) will be provided to individual and business entities expressing an interest in the area.

"(It will also be) used internally with schools, local civic groups, churches and local media to remind them of what we have and of the opportunities available for our residents.
