By devising a comprehensive marketing tool for McMinnville-Warren County, BMC helps the county enhance economic growth.
Located at the foothills of the Cumberland Plateau in middle Tennessee, McMinnville-Warren County is a growing community.

To foster that growth, the county's Industrial Development Board approached BMC to develop a visual marketing tool to help recruit new industry.

Don Rigsby, former board director of economic development, said having a visual aid is one of the most important tools in the recruitment of new industry.

"We didn't have any tools to market McMinnville and Warren County to industry leaders. We worked with BMC to create a CD so we would have something to show prospective companies.
"The CD has turned out to be a great tool for economic development. People like to have something tangible in their hands, something to look at. The CD shows a lot about the county and gives a great overview of the quality of life in McMinnville and Warren County.

"Recently, representatives from Warren County took a trip to China to discuss economic development, and they took the CD with them. The CD really shows that the county is on top of its game - that it's organized. People get the impression that we mean business because we've put a lot of work into creating a thorough marketing tool.

"One of the great things about the CD is that it was built to be easily updated. As things change and progress, the CD is able to do the same.

"BMC created a great tool that will benefit McMinnville and Warren County for a long time."

Rigsby now works for the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development as a jobs development specialist.
