The Tennessee Tech University (TTU) BusinessMedia Center (BMC) is a leader in accessing and implementing emerging business technologies for its diverse clients.
And it's a resource like no other.
Established in 1990, BMC is a unit in the College of Business Administration at TTU, a public university in Cookeville, Tenn. The city is in the rolling hills of the Upper Cumberland region and has about 25,000 residents. It is nearly equidistant from three metro areas -- Nashville to the west, Knoxville to the east and Chattanooga to the south.
The university offers undergraduate, graduate and terminal degrees. It is a member of the Tennessee Board of Regents educational system. It is internationally respected for the quality of its academic programs, the variety of its resources and the depth of its accomplishments.
The BusinessMedia Center is one of TTU's most innovative, externally-focused resources. It goes far beyond campus and regional parameters to affect people who have real challenges that require real-world, nitty-gritty but leading-edge solutions.
BMC provides cost-effective, in-depth knowledge of current marketing techniques and state-of-the-art technology to businesses, industries, organizations, universities, government agencies and others.

Perhaps what sets the BusinessMedia Center apart from other organizations is the one-on-one relationship approach of its team. As a university-based center, BMC is able to establish personal relationships first, allowing "business" to come second. This results in an open approach to communication which creates the opportunity for BMC to become extraordinarily familiar with its clients' needs. Such relationships lead to target-specific, not one-size-fits-all, solutions to clients' needs.
BMC responds with enthusiasm to complex or simple tasks requested of it by its diverse clients. By combining strategic marketing plans with multimedia technology, BMC creates short- and long-term solutions for multi-level needs.
The BMC team produces Web sites, CD-ROMs and DVDs for marketing, branding, corporate identity, training, recruiting, promotional, and information-driven programs for clients. The center also develops hard copy programs as collateral to clients' programs.
BMC excels in comprehensive statewide campaigns, university collaborations, economic
development initiatives, corporate support, incubator enterprises and high-growth
entrepreneurial partnerships, though its work is not limited to these areas.
