TTU's BusinessMedia Center collaborates with regional universities and colleges to create dynamic solutions for recruitment, marketing, informational and educational needs.

Partnering with institutions of higher learning is a natural fit for BMC. Their ability to identify with the needs and trends of universities and colleges gives BMC the leading edge in target marketing and use of advancing technologies.

"The BusinessMedia Center is innovative, creative and customer-oriented," said TTU chairholder Dr. Curt Reimann. "I consider the BusinessMedia Center to be a rare resource."

Reimann is Senior Scientist Emeritus and Former Director (1987-1995) of the Malcolm Baldridge National Quality Award for the National Institute of Standards and Technology. He has served as the W. Eugene Mayberry Chair of Excellence since 1996 at the TTU College of Business Administration.

"I view BMC as an outsider," said Reimann. "There's always something new going on. It's very energizing and gratifying to see real development at work.

"The BMC team works on the leading-edge, and they're rapid adopters of and adapters to new ideas.

"Their work is like pulling a piece of thread out of fabric. Their ability to engage with a customer, to identify what the customer is really trying to do, is rare. Sometimes there's a difference between what the customer wants to do and what they are trying to accomplish.

"Kevin (Liska) has an instinct for knowing what the customer is trying to achieve, and the BMC staff uses the various tools of their craft to pull that out and use it for value creation."
